Summary: Altius SEO is a self-hosted plugin. Your visitors' analytics data stays entirely in your database and never reaches our servers. We only collect data necessary to operate this website and deliver the service.
Altius SEO ("we", "us", "our") is a software product operated at altiusseo.com. You can contact us at support@altiusseo.com.
Contact form submissions — When you use the support form at /support, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is used only to respond to your inquiry and is stored in our email system (SendGrid).
Payment information — When you purchase a Pro or Agency license, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We receive your email address and subscription details. We never see or store your card details — those are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy.
Website analytics — This marketing website (altiusseo.com) does not use third-party analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, cookies for tracking, or any external analytics service.
When you install Altius SEO in your .NET application, it tracks analytics for your visitors. This data is stored exclusively in your SQL Server database — it is never sent to our servers.
Data collected per page view includes: hashed IP address (one-way hash — not reversible), page URL, page title, referrer URL, user agent, session ID, timestamp, and device type. No cookies are set. IP addresses are hashed with a daily rotating salt before storage.
As the operator of Altius SEO in your application, you are the data controller for your visitors' data. You are responsible for maintaining an appropriate privacy policy and legal basis for processing this analytics data in your own application.

This marketing website (altiusseo.com) does not use tracking cookies. The only cookies that may be set are session-related functional cookies by Lemon Squeezy during the checkout process.
The Altius SEO plugin you install in your application does not set any cookies on your visitors' browsers. Analytics are tracked cookie-free using hashed IP + user-agent fingerprinting with session storage.
Contact form data — Retained for up to 12 months or until you request deletion.
License / payment records — Retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations.
Plugin analytics data (your database) — Configurable via the RetentionDays option. Default is 365 days. You control this entirely.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data held by us, and to object to or restrict processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@altiusseo.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures: HTTPS for all data in transit, encrypted storage at rest on Railway's infrastructure, and we never store plain-text passwords or payment card details.
This service is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
