By downloading, installing, or using Altius SEO ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
These terms apply to all tiers: Free, Pro, and Agency.
Free tier — We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the Altius SEO Free tier in any number of applications you own or operate.
Pro / Agency tiers — Upon active subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro/Agency features for the number of sites covered by your plan. The license is active only while your subscription is paid.
You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Software or license keys. You may not use the Software to build a competing SEO platform or developer toolkit.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorise Lemon Squeezy to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring basis.
Prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Lemon Squeezy handles all tax collection and remittance on our behalf as Merchant of Record.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Your access to Pro/Agency features continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except under our 30-day refund guarantee (see section 4).
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase at support@altiusseo.com and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
Refunds are not available after 30 days from the initial purchase, or for renewals (only the initial purchase is covered by the guarantee).

The core analytics tracking infrastructure (AltiusSEO.Core) is available under the MIT license. The Pro/Agency feature layer served via the license server API is proprietary and not open-source.
Third-party dependencies included in the Software are governed by their respective open-source licenses. A complete list is available in the package manifest of each release.
Altius SEO stores all analytics and SEO data in your database on your infrastructure. You are the data controller for all visitor data collected by the plugin. You are responsible for:
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will improve your search engine rankings. SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altius SEO and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or use of the Software.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing a paid tier. In such a case, we will issue a prorated refund for any unused prepaid period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by local law.
